Through The YES Camp Student Awards Initiative, BC school teachers are invited to nominate students who demonstrate potential for our annual sponsorship draw.

Good candidates are youth who:

• Would benefit greatly from connecting to an inclusive and supportive community of their peers from across BC

• Demonstrate potential for leadership in community building, relationship building or co-operation

• Show interest in being of service to others (their peers, school, or larger community)

We are interested in supporting youth who may not be the recipients of other awards, but show potential and promise as caring and conscientious members of the communities they're a part of.

Sponsorships are available each year to eligible students (grade 8-12), and students who are not selected are welcome to register for the program independently, and seek out sponsorship or subsidy outside of the The YES Camp Student Awards.

Note: Student Nominations are designed to be awarded to new participants who have not previously attended a YES Leadership Camp. If you are the teacher of a former YES participant and are aware that your student requires financial assistance to return to camp, kindly direct the parents to our Subsidy Request Form.
