Trail Restoration Project!

HOW YOUR GIFT MAKES AN IMPACT:

The Town of Lake Cowichan has approved a Trail Restoration project at the Cowichan Lake Education Centre (CLEC).

As a key partner in this restoration, The YES has committed to supporting this $25,000 project to help rebuild the trails so campers can once again experience the benefits of outdoor education.

To complete this project, we’re inviting our community to get involved and help us raise $10,000 to bring the trail back before the first camp of the year.

Your gift will directly restore the trail and bring back an important part of The YES Camp experience. Leave a legacy and sponsor a post, sign or bridge!

  • $250 for a sign post with acknowledgment - 2 available

  • $500 for an interpretive sign kiosk with acknowledgment - 8 available

  • $5,000 to support bridge construction and receive naming rights - 1 available

  • Any donation amount to support equipment needs, clearing vegetation, stabilizing paths and rerouting the trail.

For years, campers at The YES discovered confidence, resilience, and connection on a forested hiking trail.

These hikes weren’t just activities. They were moments where youth were given the opportunity to challenge themselves, support each other, and experience the outdoors as a community.

In recent years, the trail has become overgrown and unsafe, and this opportunity has been lost.

Together, we can restore this opportunity!

HOW YOUR GENERAL GIFT
MAKES AN IMPACT:

The YES is a charitable, non-profit organization that serves youth in over 90 communities in BC through our various programs. For many young people, financial barriers make it impossible to access transformative leadership programs like ours. Sponsorships and donations ensure that youth from all backgrounds can participate in our unique curriculum, developing critical life skills, building self-confidence, and forming lasting connections. By supporting The YES, donors are helping to empower the next generation of leaders, giving them the tools they need to succeed and contribute meaningfully to their communities.
