Alumni

In 2019, The YES held a community event in Vancouver, BC, inviting YES staff, participants, and alumni to join us to celebrate our programs and look toward our future. Motivated by conversations with alumni from the 1970s, we decided to invest in bringing together our YES and Camp Rainbow community members, seeking to connect with the thousands of people who have been affected by our co-operative programs. In the summer of 2020, we launched The Alumni Project, seeking to connect with alumni near and far. If you are an alum of Camp Rainbow, R.Y.E.S., or The YES Camp, please join our Alumni Project Mailing List. We are so excited to reconnect with you and our entire, incredible camp family.

"I learned countless things from my unique and memorable experience at Camp Rainbow. I learned how to take accountability for myself and be conscious of the world around me. I learned how to open up to a group of complete strangers in an environment where such a thing didn't seem daunting at all. I learned the various different aspects of leadership, co-ops, discussion, and friendship. To have gained all of this knowledge and experience in one week is no small feat."

Basic Camp 2002
